The marathon - course:

Start I: Großlobming (45km)

Le Mans mass start from the river bank

approx. 10:50 am 1st startline (K2M, K2Mix, K2W)

approx. 11:00 am 2nd startline (all K1)

approx. 11:10 am 3rd startline (all C1, all C2)

 

Start II: St. Stefan (18 km)

Le Mans mass start from the river bank

approx. 12:00 am 1st startline SUP & Skijak

approx. 12:10 pm 2nd startline all Rafts

approx. 12:10 pm 3rd startline all non-competitive paddlers

(without timekeeping)

 

Finish area:

Leoben, finish line is visible marked, take out at right river bank

Overrun:

In St. Michael, Murinsel, right river bank

mandatory for all participants, ignoring leads to disqualification

start of „Mini- Marathon“

take out on right river bank, the portage is approx. 200 meters long and visible marked!

 

The mandatory equipment (helmet, life jacket, footwear) will be controlled by marshalls during the race.

Ignoring this rules leads to disqualification.

 

Entry fee:

Registration received by Sept., 7th 2018: € 30,00 per person + € 10,00 deposit for starting number

Registration received after Sept., 7th 2018: € 35,00 per person + € 10,00 deposit for

starting number registration on Sept., 15th 2018: possible up to 1 hour before start at race office

Entry fee is paid only in cash (EUR).

In addition to the classic time score, the average time of all participants is determined.

The participant closest to this value will become the challenge winner!

Awards and prices:

  • fastest boat of the day
  • first, second, third place of each category
  • first, second, third place in styrian championships K1 Men and K1 Women

 

Further information:

  • for flatwater boats are removeable overster-rudder recommended
  • it is mandatory to wear a helmet, Life jacket and footwear during the whole race
  • all kinds of pumps are allowed
  • Cut off Time at 16:30 pm, after this time no time keeping
  • all participants act on their own risk
  • the race will held at a water level between 150 cm and 300 cm. The race will be canceled at a water level over 300 cm. (water level Zeltweg)
